The national curriculum for Primary Schools contains reference to the work of VAO. It is contained in Unit 17 of the Geography Schemes of Work for Year 2 Children (6-7 year olds) under the title ‘Global Eye’. The complete unit can be viewed and downloaded at the National Curriculum website.

School's Pack: VAO can provide a schools pack for teachers aimed at Year 2 children. The pack includes a classroom presentation and ideas for assembly presentations. These packs are free to all schools. To apply for a pack please contact info@vao.org.uk

  · Raise funds  - as little as £3 could pay for an eye test and a pair of spectacles for a child in Ethiopia
